Heritage Hills Living Center, in Wadesboro, North Carolina, earns highest
possible rating for the fourth time.
(Greenville, SC, April 3, 2007) Heritage Hills Living Center, one of twenty-one
living centers in the Advantage Health Systems regional network, recently received
a “0” deficiencies rating for the fourth time. The Division of Facility Services,
part of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, gave the rating,
which is the highest possible.
“These inspectors show up unannounced and they grade on the 501 regulations
published
in The Long-Term Care Survey Manual by Medicare.” said David Byram, Advantage’s
Vice-President of Marketing and Community Relations. “Since you never know when
they’re coming, everything always has to be right, whether it’s food choices and
water temperatures, or the cleanliness of the building and the dignity of the
residents.”
Advantage promises quality of life for seniors, with its clinical and residential
staff responsible for keeping this promise. “Gay Lookabill, the Executive Director
at Heritage Hills, and her staff do an incredible job,” Mr. Byram observed. “They’ve
raised the bar on every Advantage living center, not to mention the competition.”
